We had dinner at Blu again tonight. Ross has the best starter which was a sesame crusted tuna over a noodle and Asian veggie salad. Grandma Trudy and Sweet Pea had a macadamia encrusted scallop, which Sweet Pea devored. Shannon had the crab bisque which tasted like egg drop soup. It wasn’t bad but certainly bot as good as she expected.
Sweet Pea ordered truffle gnocchi for her entree and loved it. This was one of the best dishes of the night.
Shannon had rack of lamb, which was very good. Ross ordered pheasant which was so dry that he returned it and got an order of lamb instead. Trudy ordered salmon which was cooked perfectly.
Grandma Trudy hasn’t been feeling well and took some medication that made her really sleepy. She was falling asleep all through dinner so after the main course, Ross walked her back to her cabin and dropped Sweet Pea off at the kids club.
When he returned, Shannon and Ross had a quiet dessert together. Shannon had the dulcet de lèche chocolate cake, which is one of her favorite desserts. It is so moist and chocolate. Ross had a warm apple crumble which was pretty good.
